Warranty
These warranty provisions apply in addition to our General Terms and Conditions of niceshops and take precedence in case of conflicting provisions.
For all Geero pedelecs, we guarantee that the product complies with the purchase contract at the time of handover. We aim to ensure a smooth warranty process and provide a brief overview of the legal framework with references to statutory provisions. This information does not replace legal advice.
The warranty period is generally 2 years from the time of delivery. After this period, defects can only be claimed under the manufacturer's warranty. We recommend checking the product for damage or defects immediately upon receipt, especially for transport damage, and notifying us in writing as soon as possible.
The warranty period for used Geero pedelecs may be reduced to 1 year. These bikes are clearly marked as used, and this is communicated again before the order is completed. Used Geero pedelecs are those that are no longer new due to prior use, may show signs of wear, and are offered at a lower price than new models.
If defects occur within the first year after receipt, it is assumed that they already existed at that time unless this conflicts with the nature of the defect. After this period, you must prove that the defect existed at handover to claim warranty rights.
We are not liable for defects or damage caused by unauthorised modifications, incorrect use, accidents, or similar factors.
Within the warranty, we will repair the defect or replace the faulty component or the entire Geero. If both options involve disproportionate costs, we may refuse them and instead offer a price reduction. For minor defects, you may also request a cancellation of the contract. If the Geero was used before cancellation, we may claim compensation for its use.
Repairs under warranty use original spare parts or equivalent alternatives if originals are unavailable.
Normal wear and tear from use (and wear and tear elements), exposure to weather, dirt, or dust is not covered. The following parts have limited service life and are excluded if used and maintained properly:
- Handles and saddle
- Pedals, chain, chainring, cassette, rear derailleur, brake pads
- Tyres and rims
- All rotating parts are subject to mechanical wear or contain bearings
- Frame coating
Return the Geero to us to request warranty repairs. Using the shipping label from our partners, you incur no return shipping fees. Further details are available from us or on our website.
To help process delivery damage and warranty cases quickly, please send a detailed description along with photos or videos if possible.
You will receive a free shipping label for necessary returns within warranty cases. As part of your duty to cooperate, you must send the item within 30 days of receiving the label; otherwise, the case will be closed, and you will need to contact us again.

No manufacturer warranty for orders from 01.01.2026
We can no longer offer a voluntary manufacturer warranty for orders placed from 1 January 2026.
For orders placed up to 31 December 2025, the conditions below still apply.
Extended manufacturer warranty for orders from 01.01.2022 to 31.12.2025
Your Geero pedelec is developed and produced to high standards and is designed for long-term use. Regular maintenance, especially of moving parts, is recommended. All relevant information is included in the user manual, which is provided with every Geero pedelec and is also available for download. If you need further assistance, you can contact us by phone (0800 55 66 40 517) or email. Providing high-quality products is part of our company philosophy. We therefore offer first-end customers a voluntary manufacturer warranty for selected components, independent of statutory warranty claims. Details are provided below.
Warranty conditions
General information
We - Geero GmbH (hereinafter “Geero”), Saaz 99, 8341 Paldau, Austria, company registration number FN 465621m, office@geero.bike - provide a warranty for selected, new Geero pedelec components (for details, see “Scope of Warranty”) to you as the original end customer.
This warranty applies exclusively to new products; outlet items are excluded. It is a voluntary warranty granted in addition to your statutory rights as the original end customer against your seller or against Geero GmbH.
An “original end customer” is a person who purchased the Geero pedelec as the first buyer, either directly from Geero or from niceshops as an authorised Geero distribution partner.
This warranty is linked to the initial purchaser in question and cannot be transferred. If the pedelec is resold, the warranty does not pass to the new owner.
Warranty content and period
This warranty applies only to the following components:
- frame
- fork
- battery
The warranty period is 10 years for the frame and fork and 3 years for the battery. The battery must retain at least 60% of its original capacity.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- damage caused by improper use or maintenance
- damage caused by transport, incorrect storage, assembly, or accidents
- damage caused by unauthorised modifications to electronics, battery, or motor
- damage caused by wear and tear
- damage caused by improper repairs
Claims process
Warranty claims must be submitted directly to Geero:
- bring the defective Geero pedelec to a Geero Store and contact our service staff. Please bring identification and the invoice
or
- send a written report describing the defect along with your details and proof of purchase. Then send the defective pedelec to Geero for inspection. A free shipping label can be requested.
No limitation of statutory rights
Your statutory warranty rights against niceshops GmbH remain unaffected.
Invalid claims
Geero may verify whether warranty conditions are met. If a claim is made but not valid, you must cover transport and inspection costs, including labour and return shipping.
Data protection
When you submit a warranty claim, we process your personal data - particularly your name, email address, and invoice details - where this is necessary to assess your entitlement under the warranty. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of our (warranty) contract in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, as well as our legitimate interest in ensuring proper handling of warranty claims pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Jurisdiction and law
This agreement is governed by Austrian law. International sales law does not apply. The place of jurisdiction is Graz. Consumers in Austria may only be sued in the court of their residence or workplace.
Warranty until 01.01.2022
The Geero pedelec is designed for long-term use. Regular maintenance is recommended. Instructions are included with every bike.

In addition to statutory rights, a voluntary manufacturer's warranty applies to the frame.
The warranty period for the frame is 5 years from the date of delivery.
The warranty is void if damage results from improper use, storage, repairs, or accidents.
To make a claim, submit the invoice and a clear description of the defect.

Cancellation
As a consumer, you may withdraw from online purchase contracts within 14 days. Details are provided in our terms and cancellation policy.
For new Geero pedelecs, this period is extended to 30 days from delivery.
For used Geero pedelecs, the 14-day period applies.
Used models are clearly marked and sold at a lower price.
During the cancellation period, you may inspect and test the pedelec. If its value decreases due to excessive use or poor handling, we may charge compensation. Careful use allows a test distance of up to 50 kms without a reduction in value.
